“PHILO” (FYE-LOW) IS A GREEK NAME THAT MEANS “LOVER” OR “FRIEND”. WE PRONOUNCE IT “FEE- LOH” AS A PLAYFUL NOD TO THE OWNER’S MEXICAN HERITAGE. “FEE-LOH” (FILO) MEANS THE EDGE OF A BLADE. SO NATURALLY, IT FELT LIKE IT WAS THE MOST FITTING WAY TO DEFINE THE BARBERSHOP… A FRIEND WHO USES BLADES.
